This logo gives a 1970's look to a pirate with the Elvis look in the background with the 1970's colored yellow with the 1970's looking sketch of the pirate in great detail with the logo and the background looking like a piece of paper that a pirate would use. This logo reminds fans of the good old days with Willie Stargell, Roberto Clemente and Dave Parker, winning two World Series Championships in 1971 and 1979, which also reminds Pirate fans of when the team was great back in the 1970's.
